What grants are available for businesses?

There are many different types of grants for companies. These include financial grants, low-interest loans, state and federal guarantees such as the KFW, tax concessions or exemptions, and public equity capital.

For founders there are various fundings available such as grants, which pay the salary of the founders for a certain period, subsidies, which take over the salary of new employees or grant a general subsidy for costs such as the IBB Gründungsbonus. There are numerous grant opportunities for existing companies. On the one hand, there are low-interest loans for follow-up financing, and on the other hand, there are grants that support, for example, the digitization of a company. What grants are available for founders of a new business?

The Federal Employment Agency can grant the startup subsidy or the introductory allowance to support the start of a business. In the case of ALG 1 recipients, there must be at least 150 days of remaining entitlement. As part of the approval process, a business plan and a financial plan are drawn up.
